ReplyDeleteYou know what sticks out to me about this meme? It says North American when it's so obviously just America.
Some of those foods are extremely tasty and it makes me hungry just to read it again.
So you would eat sushi made of Spam, but no moon pie/RC? Girl, you cray-zay! I have to get you back down South and show you what livin' is! (I can even take you to a pig pickin', although I don't recommend it...it is a full pig, rooter to tooter. Hard to eat it when you see it like that!)
ReplyDeleteOh, and PS, I am off to Google "turducken" , but I am thinking any food that starts with "turd" is a no-go for me.
ReplyDeleteHa-ha Tracy! I know, I'm an oddball, but I've had a moonpie before and it was so yucky! I can't help it, I am kind of picky about sweets :(
ReplyDeleteAnd I am surprised you don't know about Turduckens! I saw Paula Deen make on on her show once. Now, I would totally eat that, even if it does begin with "turd"!
oh, chicago style. if you ever get to go, try a place called Imo's pizza. totally unlike St. Louis' Imo's. It's got 2 layers of crust, and the top one is just covered in a sauce that is sauce in name alone, more like big chunky herbed tomatoes, and under that is a huge layer of meat, veg, and cheese. Oh, now i'm craving something that is impossible. Darn.
ReplyDeleteanyway, i found your site while googling a curry recipe, and I love it.
@HuianaSukari- Thanks! You just made my day :) I know, I am so curious to try real Chicago pizza. Everytime I see those places featured on a Food Network show, I just about eat the TV.
