Cheap Eats: Ramen Noodles. Yes, I said it. Ramen Noodles.

You probably ate a lot of these in college and maybe you even pretend not to like them, but deep down, I think everyone really loves a steaming hot bowl of the salty, noodly goodness that is Ramen. You might think I've gone insane for giving you a ramen "recipe", but hear me out. If you've ever been to Asia, then you know that they actually serve instant noodles with lots of toppings at hawker stands all over the place. You can really put whatever you want in it, veggies, meat, eggs. If you have it, kimchi and egg are a winning combo (although seriously bad for the breath.) And at 25 cents a pack, they're big time cheap eats.

1 pack of ramen noodles (any flavor)

1 egg

drizzle of sesame oil

sri racha sauce to taste

1 green onion, sliced

1 carrot, julienned

black pepper

Cook the ramen noodles according to the directions on the packet, adding 1 egg. When you have about 30 seconds remaining, add the carrot. Transfer to a large bowl and garnish with green onion, sesame oil, and sri racha sauce. That's it!
